Project Summary

In this project I created a healthy meal option with healthy, locally grown ingredients. I made a healthy morning smoothie with bananas, strawberries, raspberries, apples, and blueberries. These ingredients are all healthy for people and tastes really good. I presented to my class and demonstrated how easy it is to make healthy and good food.

Activity Log

Wednesday Night: I went to Whole Foods and bought all of the fruits and juice. Thursday Morning: I brought all of the materials and ingredients to school and got ready for the presentation. Thursday Morning: I presented to my class the making and details of the smoothie.  Thursday Night: I finished up my blog and website for the project.

Project Outline

In this project I am trying to show that healthy meals can be obtained through local sources of food and easy cooking. I will show my peers that healthy food is not hard to obtain and that by putting a little time and effort in your body can and will get healthier. I will be using locally grown foods, those are ones that have been grown within a small radius of your local food outlet.
